Toshikazu Tanaka holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree major in Mechanical Engineering from Chiba Institute of Technology, Japan. He began his career in 1965 as a design engineer of equipment and machinery for industrial plant at the Plant Headquarters of Hitachi Zosen (Hitachi Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Ltd.). After ten years pursuing his career as a design engineer, he was assigned at the Plant Export Department and engaged in overseas sales and contracting of plant and equipment by visiting over 40 countries in North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia for 28 years including 1 year at a plant construction site in Philippines, 4 years at London office and 9 years at the Jakarta office. He has experience in marketing, bidding and negotiation of contract and agreement with Arabs, Europeans, Americans and Africans who have different cultures and business behaviors, as well as working together with major international engineering companies and Japanese trading companies.
Tanaka joined PB Taxand as a technical advisor in 2004 handling relationship with the Japanese companies in Indonesia and currently is dealing with more than 80 Japanese corporate clients.
